EXP Helps Newcomers and Residents Explore Greater Akron

What is the Akron Story? How do we tell it simply and vividly? What makes our region special and memorable?

Such questions drove the creation of EXP Greater Akron, an exciting new website that presents the “value proposition” for the Greater Akron region. This toolkit of useable, up-to-date ideas about living in Akron was created by Kleidon & Associates for the Greater Akron Chamber.

Transformative cities know how to communicate about themselves. EXP is a source for ideas and information on how to live well in Greater Akron, how to work here successfully, the stories of people who happily settled here, and of course, 99 Reasons to Love Greater Akron. Kleidon researched, designed, strategized and edited the site, producing a living picture of our region and a depth of informational resources. Anyone who needs to imagine themselves in Akron—job seekers, new residents, business owners or starters, quality-of-life and opportunity seekers—will find EXP inspiring. Recruiters and HR departments have great new resources at their fingertips. Residents who’ve been here for decades will learn something new!
