Why trade shows?
For years, this was a dying tactic, pushed aside for the rush to take everything digital, but we are seeing a return this year. We believe the reason is tied to a desire to create more one-on-one conversations with prospects.
Which industries?
Mostly B2B, leaning strongly to heavy industry and manufacturing.
Cool factor?
There are new cool factors, like geofencing, interactive video presentations, and so on, but most of our clients are not investing in the cool factor. They are relying on great looking, informative booth design.
Cost efficient?
Yes and no. Trade shows are rarely cheap once you figure in the costs to display, travel, and booth materials, but for high-ticket items/contracts, they still pay off.
Pro Tip: If you go to the same shows every year, make sure to change up your graphics and promotional materials each year. The same look and message only attracts the same prospects.
